Ben Affleck’s LA Home Reportedly Visited by Federal Agents

The FBI reportedly stopped by Ben Affleck's Los Angeles-area home over the weekend, according to new photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

It's unclear if the actor was home at the time of the visit, but snapshots show several members of the FBI, identified by the bureau's acronym emblazoned across the back of their t-shirts and bulletproof vests, alongside members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department lingering outside his property early on Sunday, Jan. 12.

According to the publication, the law enforcement officials were witnessed waiting outside his Brentwood gate "for several minutes" before they left.

The reason for their stop remains unclear. Parade reached out to his representatives for comment but did not hear back by the time of publishing.

A representative for the FBI said in a statement to Parade that "members of the FBI 's Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades fire relative to unauthorized drone activity. Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason."

The 52-year-old seemingly evacuated the property last week amid the ongoing California fires, driving over to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner's home, though it was never made clear if he was ordered to evacuate or if he was just checking in on his family—the former couple shares three kidsViolet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 12.

While many have lost their homes, including Mandy Moore, Spencer Pratt and Heidi MontagRicki LakeParis Hilton and more, Affleck's seems to have made it out unscathed. Although, with many of the fires still raging, it’s not out of the woods just yet.

Garner's home also appears unharmed thus far, though she did tragically lose a friend who "did not get out in time."
