Following Bruce Jenner’s historic revelation on Friday night that he will be transitioning into a woman, the response has been largely, surprisingly, positive.

Australia's own Kyle and Jackie O from Kiis 106.5 started a campaign urging men to paint their nails and post pictures on social media using the hashtag #PaintYourNailsForBruce, to show their support for Jenner.

In the interview, Jenner said he wished he could wear nail polish “long enough for it to chip.”

So far the campaign, which has begun to spread across the globe, does feature an overwhelming amount of women.

Females do not really need to “paint their nails for Bruce,” since it’s not taboo for them to have painted nails, but the sentiment is appreciated!

Still, it’s nice to see that people are recognising Jenner’s bravery and are being so open and accepting with an issue that has typically not been met with open arms.

Sometimes people make you feel OK to be a part of humanity.
