BaubleBar Opens Jewelry Shop-in-shop at FAO Schwarz
BaubleBar is expanding into the children’s market with a new retail partnership.
The jewelry brand is opening a one-year shop-in-shop inside FAO Schwarz on Friday. Called the “Design Your Own” shop, the pop-up offers children the opportunity to design their own bracelets and make their own signature BaubleBar bracelet stacks.

“We’ve always been a brand with big dreams and a huge imagination,” said BaubleBar chief executive officer and cofounder Amy Jain. “For years, we have helped millions of people customize jewelry and accessories online. We are very excited to bring our customization to life through a whimsical retail experience that we hope inspires creativity and brings our minis lots of joy.”
BaubleBar’s FAO Schwarz shop-in-shop is the brand’s first offline custom jewelry experience. For custom bracelets, customers can choose their bracelet base and beads, which will then be assembled by a sales associate. Customers can then add to their bracelet stack from an array of BaubleBar’s bestselling styles.
The shop-in-shop will also offer BaubleBar’s minibar jewelry, hair accessories, bag charms, pouches and bead kits.
“We are very excited to welcome BaubleBar to FAO Schwarz with a new exclusive customized jewelry making experience,” said David Niggli, the chief merchandising officer at FAO Schwarz. “At FAO Schwarz we take pride in offering unique products and experiences that allow our guest to engage in creating exclusive items that will create memories and keepsakes that will last a lifetime. Having the BaubleBar experience and shop is a great addition to our 162-year history.”
