Aaron Judge has a new position to play–he's a dad!
The Yankees outfielder and his wife, Samantha Bracksieck, welcomed their first baby together a few days ago. The MLB star, who has been married to Bracksieck since 2021, announced on Wednesday that his family had grown by one adorable addition, a baby girl.
In a short and sweet message shared to his Instagram page, the six-time MLB All-Star revealed the couple welcomed their firstborn on Monday, Jan. 27. He also shared her name, Nora Rose Judge.
"What an incredible week it’s been, can’t wait for the memories the three of us make," Judge wrote in the caption of his Feb. 5 Instagram post, which featured a black and white photograph of the newborn's feet.

The couple, who have been together since high school, are notoriously private when it comes to their personal lives, so this new snap is a rare treat for fans. Especially considering that Judge only confirmed his wife's pregnancy a few days before she gave birth (though rumors had been circulating that the couple was expecting late last year).
While accepting his 2024 American League Most Valuable Player award, the Yankees player apologized for not attending the ceremony in person, explaining in a pre-recorded message that "my wife, Samantha, and I are expecting our first child any day and unfortunately couldn’t make it."
And he wasn't kidding! Just two days later, the Judge fam became a team of three.
Though he didn't make any mention of how Bracksieck or the baby are doing, they're both presumed to be at home and doing well.
