“Bad Sisters”' Sarah Greene Was 'Heavily Pregnant' When She Was Offered Her Role on the Series: 'Brutal'
The actress, who plays Bibi on the show, welcomed her baby son with fiancé Nathan Connolly in 2021
When Sarah Greene was offered her role in Bad Sisters, her life looked a little different than it does now.
The actress appeared with her costars on The Drew Barrymore Show and spoke about how when she was first offered the role of Bibi on the Apple TV+ series, she was pregnant with her son, whom she shares with her fiancé Nathan Connolly.
"I was pregnant when Sharon offered me Bibi. Heavily pregnant," Greene says of creator Sharon Horgan. "And then he was like 6 months old when we started, but luckily he and my partner kind of came with me everywhere. So at least I would see him when I got home from work every night."

"The longest I spent was like 10 days away from him when he was maybe 9 months old. It was brutal. But going to work with these ladies every day is like, so lovely and fun that it kind of balances."
In an April 2021 interview with iNews, Greene spoke about filming the series Frank of Ireland while pregnant with her son, saying that several of her costumes had to be widened.
"That last week was a bit of a blur – I remember waddling off set at the end of one day and Domhnall going, ‘Oh my God, you are SO pregnant…’ " Greene remembered of writer Domhnall Gleeson.
"The costume girls did an amazing job of widening all the dresses, because I was huge. I was just relieved we got to finish it, to be honest.”
At the time, Greene shared that she was looking forward to spending some time with her newly minted-family of three.
“The last year has been life-changing in the best possible way, although we haven’t seen my family for months," she said.
"We’ve had lovely bonding time, the three of us getting to know each other, but I can’t wait to show [our son] off a bit now.”
