Yahoo Lifestyle Bad Monkey Sneak Peek: Yancy Comes Face-to-Face With the Dragon Queen
It’s the showdown we’ve been waiting for, Bad Monkey fans: the sarcastic know-it-all versus the otherworldly voodoo priestess.
TVLine has an exclusive sneak peek at this Wednesday’s episode of the Apple TV+ mystery, with Vince Vaughn’s Yancy finally crossing paths with Jodie Turner-Smith’s Dragon Queen. In the clip — which you can watch above — they sit at different tables at a coffee shop, and Yancy (of course) strikes up a conversation, admiring her watch… and pointing out it’s worth a quarter-million dollars. The Dragon Queen bristles a bit at his questioning, but Yancy explains he’s just “a naturally curious person.”

He invites himself to sit with her, hinting that he’s seen the watch before, but she just thinks that’s because “there’s only one decent breakfast place on this entire f–king island.” She admits she “stole it from a very bad man” (yep, that’s the watch from Nick’s severed arm), and she knows Yancy knows that already. Yancy introduces himself, but the Dragon Queen doesn’t return the favor, and when Yancy tells her he intends to make Nick and Eve pay for their crimes, she wonders, “What kind of god are you?” Yancy thinks we all pay for our sins eventually… but the Dragon Queen hopes we don’t.
