Bachie fans 'cringe' at first look of Ali as Bachelorette
Bachelor fans were left watching the screen through their hands last night, after the “cringe-worthy” first look of Ali Oetjen as The Bachelorette aired.
The new promo for the upcoming fourth season of the dating show features the leading lady in a bright red ball gown, doing her best to channel Marilyn Monroe.
But as the Bachelorette broke into a rendition of ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’ with host Osher Günsberg looking on and promising to help her find “Mr Right”, viewers lost it.
Taking to Twitter to voice their disappointment, fans of the Channel Ten show labelled the clip “cringe” and called it “absolutely terrible”.
That new promo was pure cringe… Nooo #BACHELORETTEAU

Some beady-eyed viewers were left in stitches at the sight of the 32-year-old on a set of stairs, noting it was the same location that Ali was sensationally accused of cheating on her by ex Grant Kemp.
“Are they having a dig at Grant? First shot of her… is on a staircase?!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
It’s in the same vein that some thought it was hilarious some of the guys in the ad were holding love heart signs that read, “Mr Cheater” and “Mr Faithful”.
But while it seems most of Australia aren’t loving the first promo, host Osher Günsberg said he loves it.
I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this promo turned out. Brilliant! #BacheloretteAU https://t.co/KvrjUgVwME

Ali originally appeared on Tim Robards season of The Bachelor in 2013, where she was left broken hearted after he fell in love with — and recently married — Anna Heinrich.
Two years later she got engaged to her boyfriend David Waldeck, only for their shock split in 2017 to motivate her to join the first season of Bachelor In Paradise.
While on the reality TV spin-off she found love with American intruder Grant Kemp, only for their romance to end after being rocked by rumours of cheating.
