Bachelor's Cass speaks out after claims she's dating Honey Badger's brother

The Bachelor star Cass Wood has spoken out after reports emerged earlier this week suggesting that she’s now dating Nick Cummins’ brother, Jacob.

The 24-year-old, who placed fourth on the reality show, all but confirmed the suspected romance by saying just how happy she is.

“I finally feel like I’m in a good place,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

“I’ve just been kind of focusing on myself and making sure I’m happy,” she added. While she didn’t refer to Jacob at all, there may be a hidden message in her comments.

Earlier this week it was reported Cass had found love with Jacob after things didn’t work out with Honey Badger.

“It started off as a friendship and things could well have blossomed,” a source told Woman’s Day, explaining the pair bonded after Cass’ heartbreak when Nick sent her packing following the home visits.

Apparently Nick already knows and approves of the romance, but Cass and Jacob would like to take their time in officially going public.

“They’re waiting for all the show’s hype to die down before they make any announcement on the status of their relationship, but Nick couldn’t be happier for them,” the source revealed.

The public got a glimpse of Cass and Jacob’s dynamic on The Bachelor during an episode featuring Nick’s family.

The pair immediately bonded very well as Cass had met Jacob before.

“I met Cass about a year ago. She was up for the summer, up at the Gold Coast and we went surfing with Nick and we had a few yarns, few beers,” Jacob said during the episode.

Bachelor fans will remember Cass and Nick went on a couple of dates before reuniting on the reality show.
