The girls have won the Listeners Choice for the last two years with both hosts taking to Instagram to share gushing posts to thank their subscribers.
"Our little podcast @lifeuncutpodcast that we record in our bedroom and edit into the wee hours of the night won Listeners Choice in the Australian Podcast awards against 750 other entrants, for the second year running and my head is about to explode from excitement (and a few too many celebratory drinks)!" Laura wrote. "Thank you to all of you who voted, I feel so lucky to have all of you, cheering us on, listening to the pod, giving your feedback so we can continue to grow and learn.
She continued, "I also feel so lucky that I get to work alongside these kind, brilliant and funny women @brittany_hockley and Producer @keeshiapettit. There were so many incredibly talented podcast creators there last night and it was such a joy to be able to celebrate our niche little industry, congratulations to everyone who was nominated, and to everyone who keeps churning out fantastic content week on week. Podcasting is storytelling, it’s community and it’s comfort and I’m so proud to be a part of it."
Brittany also shared a post that read: "Ahhhh guys WE DID IT!! So chuffed to say we won the listeners choice award for the second time at the Australian podcast awards last night!
When we started this in our bedroom were always worried no-one would ever want to listen to us, but to know that we have been listened to nearly 20 million times is just mind boggling!"
"There are so many amazing podcasts and truly talented people out there, it was so great to meet so many of them last night and congrats to everyone."
She added, "Cannot thank you guys enough for backing us, laughing with us, crying with us and supporting us from the beginning. We have such an amazing little community and that’s the best part! We love you.
"And to the countless people sliding into the DMS’s saying they now have my laugh from listening too much, from the bottom of my heart, I’m sorry that’s happened to you. Condolences."
Other stars that walked the red carpet included Zoe and Benji Marshall who kept things simple with black and navy looks.
Brooke Boney wore a purple dress with some unique cutouts, while Linda Marigliano wore an electric blue jacket over a black minidress.
Tom Tilley, one of the co-hosts of The Briefing, was a little more casual, wearing a multi-tonal blue shirt with jeans and boots.
