Bachelor In Paradise's Sam claims ex Tara Pavlovic 'abused' him
Just a few months ago, Tara Pavlovic and Sam Cochrane were happily engaged after meeting on Bachelor In Paradise.
But the fairytale came to an end after the couple announced their shock split in June.
Sam has now come forward with explosive claims about Tara in an interview with Woman’s Day.
The 31-year-old alleges Tara “abused” him after he moved to Queensland in February and it was down to her “excessive drinking”.
However, it wasn’t until after the Bachelor In Paradise finale aired at the beginning of May when “everything spiralled” for the couple.
“The relationship took a back seat, the drinking kicked in and then the violence started,” Sam claims.
On the weekend of their engagement party in Sydney, Tara allegedly punched Sam in the face twice and from then on “a pattern developed”.
Sam stuck around, hoping things would get better.
You allow me to be me. Even though sometimes what I do makes little sense. @tarapavlovic 💫❤️💃🏼🕺

The final straw was when an explosive argument broke out between the pair at a Paradise charity event in Sydney.
“She bit my hand, my face and my back… I didn’t actually realise how bad it was until I saw myself in the bathroom mirror,” Sam alleges.
Sam provided photos of the alleged “injuries” to the publication which he claims were caused by Tara.
Tara appears to have responded to the explosive claims on Instagram.
“There are terrible people in this world,” she said. “I’ve learnt that over the past 6 months. I reached a low I never knew I could reach and I turned into a person I have never been before.
“Keep amazing people in your life, and don’t let narcissistic people with hidden agendas emotionally bring you down.”
The 28-year-old added it’s her “real friends and family” who matter.
Posing for a photo on her flight to Europe with a glass of champagne, Tara subtly hit back at Sam’s “excessive drinking” claims.
“Champagne on the plane ’cause apparently I’m an alcoholic,” she wrote, adding a crying laugh emoji.
Be has contacted both Tara and Sam for comment on the allegations.
Last week Tara branded her relationship with Sam “toxic”.
“I feel the biggest sense of relief now that it’s all over,” she told the Daily Mail Australia. “I finally feel like I’m myself again.”
The former Bachelor star is reportedly now in a relationship with an old friend, plumber Nick Shepherdson.
