Bachelor girls arrive at Birdcage with no Badger in sight

The timing of The Bachelor series is always such that the TV star and his chosen lady get to parade their new romance at the Melbourne Cup carnival.

But given Nick Cummins chose no one in the 2018 finale, this year’s Derby Day saw the Bachelor girls put on a united female front and strut into the Birdcage with no Honey Badger in sight.

Grand finalists Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman were joined by Cass Wood, who placed fourth, for the first official race day that celebrates a black and white dress code.

Both Brittany and Sophie stunned in fitted white dresses paired with statement black hats, while Cass opted for a monochrome floral number teamed with a delicate headband.

Each of the stars also took to social media to share closeup snaps of their designer Derby Day looks.

What’s next

The public appearance comes after Channel Ten confirmed Cass as one of the cast members of Bachelor In Paradise next year, alongside Brooke Blurton.
