“Not sure how I feel about my chicken’s choice of newspaper…” he wrote in the caption.

The video starts on Robert’s face, before he tilts towards one of his chickens sitting in the coop.

“I noticed that [the chickens] have some… questionable reading material,” he said to the camera, before panning across to show the newspapers that cover the floor.

One of the articles is about Robert, with the headline reading: “Crikey! Irwin Jr’s a hunk!”.

The newspaper shows a photo of the teenager shirtless next to a large photo of Robert staring off into the distance.

“Oh my gosh,” he says, addressing the chicken. “What are you doing? You know none of that stuff [is] real, don’t read the tabloids.”

Turning the camera back to his face, he finishes off his video with a joke.

“Well, I’m about to get pooped on anyway,” he says, before giving the thumbs up.

The video has been viewed a whopping 481,000 times, with over 130,000 likes on the platform.

Robert’s celebrity friends found the video hilarious, with The Wiggles star Tsehay Hawkins saying she ‘loved’ the skit.

“Hahaha. I put all our articles in our coops and aviaries too!!!” The Veronicas' Lisa admitted.

Actresses Ellie Gonsalves and Emmy Perry also added laughing emojis in the comments.

His fans also flooded the post with witty comments.

“It [has] good taste, not questionable material at all,” one fan wrote.

“It’s a shame Robert, but I’m sure they’re appreciating the read,” another quipped.

“That chicken has a great eye…” a third added.

“Look at her staring at it intently,” wrote another.
