Austin Butler Stars in Dapper New Saint Laurent Campaign Weeks After Kaia Gerber Split

Austin Butler's smolder is the warmth we need this winter.

On Wednesday, Jan. 22, Saint Laurent announced that the Oscar-nominated actor, 33, is the face of its spring 2025 campaign. In a short promotional clip released by the fashion house, Butler dazzles in a dapper tan blazer, which he pairs with a wide pin striped button down and a dark teal tie — set against a daytime city skyline.

In the campaign, the Elvis star rocks his signature shaggy hair — evidently filmed before he debuted a shocking buzz cut while in in Tulum, Mexico, with several other production members of the forthcoming Darren Aronofsky movie Caught Stealing.

This isn’t the first time the Elvis star has collaborated with the brand. In August 2023, YSL Beauty announced the actor as the global ambassador for its MYSLF men’s fragrance, and the next month, he scored a front-row seat to the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection at Paris Fashion Week.

Butler has also been known to rock Saint Laurent on the red carpet — wearing a pair of jaw-dropping looks by the fashion house at the 2023 Oscars and Vanity Fair Oscar Party later that night.

The campaign comes two weeks after news of Butler’s split from his girlfriend, supermodel-actress Kaia Gerber. On Jan. 7, three years after the pair went public with their romance, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that they were going their separate ways.

The duo first sparked dating rumors in December 2021 after they were spotted attending a yoga session, and PEOPLE confirmed that they were spending time together ahead of the holidays. Over the following few months, the pair were spotted out and about — on a casual supermarket stroll, taking a walk on Valentine’s Day and traveling to Paris together — before they made their official debut as a couple at W Magazine's annual Best Performances party ahead of the 2022 Oscars.

It would be the first of several joint red carpet appearances for the couple: Butler and Gerber shared a steamy kiss at the 2022 Met Gala, rocked coordinating looks at the Time100 gala in 2023 and stepped out together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party that year. And the pair were not afraid to share a little PDA off the carpet as well, showing off their love with a passionate kiss at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Butler’s film Elvis.
