The Wicked movie (part one, at least) is almost upon us, which means that we'll soon be blasting the soundtrack and irritating our friends/families/SOs with our attempts at hitting gravity-defying high notes.

In the meantime, however, a new style duo continues to dominate the red carpet: Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Playing Glinda and Elphaba respectively, this duo has seriously upped the method dressing game — not just dressing like their characters while making the rounds on the Wicked press tour but twinning while dressing like their characters.

Yep, we're obsessed! And their latest look is a case-in-point.

At the Los Angeles premier of Wicked, the duo turned up in contrasting green and pink looks that were soooo Glinda and Elphaba.

For her part, Ari strutted down the red carpet in a retro custom Thom Browne pink and white gingham midi dress with a full skirt, finished off with a shawl cape and accessorised with tiny gloves a handbag in the shape of a dog (!!) and a pair of Swarvoski crystal heels.

Obviously, the look was a bit of a reference to the OG Glinda and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. “We wanted to nod to Glinda, of course, as well as Dorothy, with the original jewelled shoes from the L. Frank Baum books," Ari told Vogue.

Cynthia, on the other hand, worked with her stylist Jason Bolden on a more contemporary look. The opted for a slinky green vinyl gown with a cutout from Louis Vuitton, styled with a feather stole.

The look was finished with some serious jewellery: a Roberto Coin 18-karat white gold, diamond, and emerald collar and matching rings and earrings by the same brand.

Too iconic!!
