Ant Middleton has made a memorable appearance on The Morning Show from his hotel room after the Logies after party, telling Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies that he was "still drunk".

Appearing with his arms crossed, Ant appeared to be in good spirits as he bantered back and forth with the two Morning Show hosts, with Larry saying that the SAS Australia star was still on the dancefloor at 2am when Larry left the after-party.

The chaotic interview came after Ant confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle on the red carpet that SAS Australia would be back on screens, despite rumours of a cancellation.

From joking about "naked twister" to showing off his Dancing With The Stars moves and taking Larry's wife Sylvie "for a spin" on the dancefloor, Larry then asked Ant if he was still drunk while chatting with them on the show, with Ant being quick to say, "Of course I am, mate!"

"I'm barely holding up as well, I'm here though, I'm here for Larry," Ant said when kicking off the interview, before only talking about Larry's Gold Logie win when asked any question about the night before.

Addressing Sam Pang's roast of Ant and SAS Australia not returning this year during last night's ceremony, Kylie asked if the two were "cool".

"It was such a cool evening, and just to watch Larry on that final moment picking up Gold, honestly it was a moment I will remember forever, and honestly, the after party, wow I can't even remember the after party," Ant answered."I think I picked you [Larry] up, swung you around, and before we know it, you were home."

"You were on the dance floor playing naked twister, I had never seen that before, is that a UK thing?" Larry asked Ant, with Ant saying, "Well, do you know what, I thought I'd try something different, and guess what, I won," he laughed.

"Because we've asked you five different questions and you've given us the same answer every time, are you still drunk?" Larry asked Ant. "Larry, are you sitll drunk? Of course I am still drunk, would I be here if I wasn't still drunk," Ant laughed.

When asked for advice on getting a tattoo, with Larry getting a tattoo on his butt today, Ant said "You just gotta bend over, grit your teeth, and get those tattoos done, mate."

Honestly, fair enough.

While it may have featured in Sam Pang’s ‘In Memoriam’ segment at the 2024 Logie Awards on Sunday evening, Ant Middleton has revealed some surprising news about the future of SAS Australia.

“Of course we’re coming back, SAS Australia’s gone nowhere. You’ve heard it from the horse’s mouth,” Ant told Yahoo Lifestyle on Sunday afternoon.

“We just need to make sure we’ve got the right cast, that we’ve got the right location, and with SAS Australia you can’t rush it. You can’t just go, ‘Right, we need to do it every year’, because it’s about getting things right, it’s about keeping it authentic and keeping it real and keeping it raw. We need the right cast, we need the right location, and we need the right production company on board.”
