To Anna Wintour's grandchildren, she's just Anna.

No really, they call her Anna.

On the Sept. 3 episode of Origins with Cush Jumbo, Wintour told host Cush Jumbo about her three grandchildren. Wintour's son, Charles Shaffer, has two children, and her daughter, Bee Carrozzini, has one child.

"I'd love more [grandchildren], but that might be it," Wintour said. "No, they're great. They're great."

Wintour then told Jumbo that the kids call her Anna, but when they were smaller, they had a different nickname for her — and it definitely wasn't "grandma" or anything similar.

"We don't talk about [work]. ... we play tennis. We discuss the dogs. When they were little, they, they always saw me with, we have three dogs, with the dogs. So they used to call me 'dog.' Um, but you know, I'm the lady with the, with the dogs, three dogs."

Elsewhere on Jumbo's podcast, Wintour spoke of her assistant days, telling the host that she was "terrible" at the job.

"I couldn't do any of the things that assistants are meant to do, like type or, uh, you know, sew on a button, I was awful," she shared. "I still can't type very well, but it's like, you know, it was a very different time. Uh, where people got jobs with no discernible skills, but maybe somebody knew someone."

Wintour went as far as saying she wasn't good at anything when she was young — she got "fired from Harper's Bazaar" before landing at New York Magazine, and she eventually worked her way up to where she is now.
