Angelina Jolie and her kids are in therapy
Two weeks after she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has reportedly started therapy with her kids.
According to PEOPLE, the actress has begun therapy with her and Brad's six children, and is "staying strong for her kids" as the whole family struggles to cope with the split.
"It's been a traumatic situation," says a source.
The magazine adds that things are intense between Brad and Ange, who are parents to Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
It's been claimed that Brad mistreated Maddox after a confrontation whilst drunk on a private jet. The incident triggered an investigation by L.A.’s Department of Children and Family Services, reports TMZ - claims which the Fury actor has denied.
Angie, 41, and her children are reported to have spent the first weeks after the split secluded in an L.A. rental home, with friends and her brother James Haven at her side.
“She did what she felt she had to do to protect the safety of the kids,” adds a source.
Brad Pitt is allegedly in "bad shape" since Angie filed for divorce and the 52-year-old has reportedly been in constant communication with his mum because he's so distressed.
"He can’t believe this is what his life has become, and he’s in bad shape, but the kids are the only thing he’s hanging onto," a source told Us Weekly.
"He’s been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly. His mum has been talking to him constantly."

Angelina filed for divorce from Brad in September citing "irreconcilable differences" but the Maleficent actress reportedly doesn't want Brad to be prosecuted for child abuse allegations, and has threatened to go "radio silent" if Brad is charged, according to TMZ.
According to the website, Brad will have visitation rights during the temporary period, but his initial visit must be with a therapist present. The therapist will then be able to decide whether or not the actor can visit his children unsupervised for subsequent visits.
