Andy Cohen is clarifying whether Lisa Vanderpump is returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During the Tuesday, Jan. 21 episode of his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live, the host addressed rumors that he was trying to bring Vanderpump, 64, back to the reality franchise. Acknowledging the speculation, Cohen insisted it isn’t true.

“It was repeated all over the place that I’m trying to get Lisa Vanderpump back on The [Real] Housewives of Beverly Hills,” he said. “Let me restate my abject love for Lisa Vanderpump, but I don’t know where the rumor came from. I don’t see her coming back to that show.”

As Cohen’s co-host John Hill noted that the Vanderpump Rules star “doesn’t need to go back” to RHOBH because “she’s got her own thing going on,” Cohen went on to say that he didn’t think she would fit in with the cast very well anymore.

“She and Dorit [Kemsley] and Kyle [Richards] are, you know, I guess she’s kind of friends with Garcelle [Beauvais],” he explained, adding that they don’t “have any desire to interact” with one another.

Cohen did say, however, that he misses seeing the dynamic between friends Richards and Vanderpump, whose falling out at the beginning of season 9 ultimately led to Vanderpump’s departure.

"I do love that it feels like once a year, Kyle runs into Vanderpump somewhere and they'll kind of send each other their bill or their drink," Cohen shared. "It seems like when they run into each other publicly, they have a little shade with each other, which I appreciate."

Vanderpump left RHOBH in 2019 after nine seasons as an original cast member on the show, shocking fans by skipping the reunion that year. At the time, Cohen said he hoped to see the restauranteur’s return in the future.

“We will miss Lisa Vanderpump,” he said. “I love Lisa Vanderpump, but the great thing about the Housewives is it’s an ensemble show. We have a group of all-stars in Beverly Hills.”

“New York survived when Bethenny [Frankel] left, Atlanta survived when NeNe [Leakes] left for a bit,” he continued. “So people come and they go, and I hope that Lisa comes back at some point.”

At BravoCon in 2023, Vanderpump was asked whether she’d give RHOBH another run, but she quickly shut down the question.

“You know what? I think I’ve got enough on my plate so that’s a hard no,” she said.
