Schumer revealed that of all of her movies, her son has only watched Trolls 3, the moment in Trainwreck when she was trying to dunk, and some of her upcoming film Kinda Pregnant because she was editing it.
"He thinks that the stunts are funny," she said. As for Fischer, the I Feel Pretty star says "sometimes [Chris will] try to empathize with it," before quickly adding, "he doesn't care."
The Inside Amy Schumer star admitted that the professional chef's upbringing could have a lot to do with his lack of interest in her global stardom. She told Cooper that he "grew up with some famous friends," since he lived on Martha's Vineyard.
Schumer was first linked to Fischer in November 2017. Shortly after the comedian made their relationship Instagram official in February 2018, the pair tied the knot in a surprise wedding in Malibu. She later opened up about the duo's courtship, telling TODAY that she knew Fischer was "the one" after a month of dating.
"We were friends for six months before [we started dating],” she said. "We got down to business really quick."
The couple welcomed their son in May 2019, and Schumer told PEOPLE at the time that she wanted "to be with him as much as I can."
"I'm very grateful to be able to work and have time for myself also," she said. "But it's brutal. It hurts. I mean, like, there's no way. It's a painful thing."
"And so I don't worry about him being taken care of," she continued, acknowledging that her husband's support made it possible for her to tour again. "I just, I just miss him. You just wanna physically be there. I really do think it's harder for me than him."
