'American Idol' Finalist Will Moseley Takes on Mariah Carey This Christmas
There’s no doubt that Mariah Carey is the Queen of Christmas following the success of her hit single "All I Want for Christmas Is You," which she co-wrote with Walter Afanasieff and released back in October 1994.
The song has had legs, climbing back up the Billboard charts annually as a result of streaming, but this Christmas, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is taking on a country flavor.
Will Moseley, runner up from Season 22 of American Idol, is bringing his unique style to Mariah's holiday song with the release of a heartfelt cover.
“’All I Want for Christmas Is You’ is a song that has been a Christmas staple for most of my life,” said Will. “It’s a song that shows simplicity and how materialistic things do not always equal happiness.”

Since finishing second on his season of American Idol, the 24-year-old musician from Hazelhurst, Ga., has built a dedicated fan base for his heartfelt performances and genre-blending style that brings fresh life to familiar songs.
At the conclusion of his time on American Idol, Moseley told Parade, I think [my American Idol] journey has shown how much I truly love performing and playing music. I hope it never ends. I told people in the beginning that if I could play music until the day I die, I would die with a smile on my face. I think it's truer now than ever.”
