America’s Got Talent Reveals 44 Acts Competing in Season 19 Live Shows

With the Paris Olympics soon coming to an end, it’s time to redirect our attention towards the next competition facing our nation. No, not the presidential election — the America’s Got Talent Season 19 live shows!

Following a brief hiatus, AGT resumes on Tuesday, Aug. 13 (8/7c) with the first live show of the season, and we now know which 44 acts will be competing when that day comes. As always, you might be disappointed to see some of your favorite acts missing from the list; only the nine Golden Buzzer recipients were guaranteed a spot in the live show, with everyone else left to vie for the remaining slots.

One major change to the format is the addition of four more Golden Buzzers. Each of the judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara — will be able to send one act of their choice through to the finals, based on what they see live in the coming weeks.

The results of each Tuesday show will be revealed live on Wednesdays (9/8c), beginning Aug. 19. This season’s live shows will consist of four weeks of quarterfinals, followed by a semifinal round and a two-week finale event.
