Amid all the drama surrounding TikTok, Amazon sneakily introduced a new way for users to save money: a mobile-only shopping experience where everything is under $20. You've probably heard about Amazon's secret premium outlet shop and their overstock section as ways to save money on the site, but Amazon Haul takes budget-conscious shopping to another level.

Amazon Haul is a new, mobile-only feature that highlights inexpensive products under $20, with most under $10. You can find just about everything you would on the normal Amazon site, from fashion to home decor, all at heavily discounted prices. Products are categorized similarly to the regular Amazon homepage, but the shopping experience is all-around a more user-friendly experience, with the interface feeding users' popular categories and highlighting clearance finds. However, you can easily get a more targeted shopping experience by using the search bar to see if Amazon Haul has exactly what you're looking for.

So, what allows Amazon to sell these products for so cheap? Shopping on Amazon Haul has quite a few more restrictions than the usual Amazon shopping experience. For starters, Amazon Haul doesn't work under the same model as Prime, which means free shipping is only available if you spend over $25. So, if you don't plan to bulk your purchases together on the site, then you may end up paying more overall including shipping than you would just going through the regular Amazon site. Additionally, two-day shipping has been nixed on this Amazon site, with "typical delivery times of one to two weeks," according to a press release about the site. Any returns must be made within 15 days of delivery, a much shorter window of time than usual for Amazon purchases, and the purchase value must be higher than $3. Finally, Amazon Haul rewards customers for buying more, giving discounts like 5% off when you spend $50 and 10% off orders of $75 or more. This ensures that customers are buying enough product to make the whole experience economically valuable on Amazon's end.

Amazon Haul is a mobile-only experience, meaning you can only access it via the app on your phone (you can scan the QR code on this page to take you straight to the site or just search "haul" in your Amazon app). It's also important to note that the site is still in the beta stage, so changes can be expected over the coming months. "Amazon Haul is now rolling out in beta and available to U.S. customers when they next update their Amazon Shopping app," according to the press release.

While I wouldn't recommend using Amazon Haul for any random impulse buy (due to the minimum purchase free shipping requirement), it can easily save you quite a bit of money when buying in bulk. Whether snagging everything you need for a Valentine's Day basket for your sweetie for $25 or stocking up on toiletries like razors or loofahs starting at just $2.99, you'll be amazed at just how much you realize you can add to your cart before hitting $25!
