Apple, Bose, LEGO reduced in Amazon Australia's Black Friday sale

Amazon Australia has started its Black Friday sale early this year, with eight days of deals to take advantage of.
Beginning now and stretching until midnight Monday, November 29, a whole host of electronics, beauty products, toys, fashion items and homewares will be discounted from brands including LEGO, Philips and Fitbit.
One hot deal that’s sure to be popular is Apple’s 2nd Gen Airpods which are down to $175 instead of $219, with Prime members able to access a further $10 discount.
There’s an even better deal on the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ earbuds which are half price for $148, while Amazon’s own Alexa-enabled Echo Buds are on sale for $99 instead of $169.
Amazon’s Australian country manager, Janet Menzies, says the sale is a great opportunity to get some holiday shopping done, saying, “We’re thrilled to kick off our Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales earlier than ever.. our longer and earlier event gives customers more time to shop and save these holidays to beat the Christmas rush.”

Just like during Prime Day, there are also plenty of limited-time lightning deals on offer, which - if you aren’t already familiar with them - is when a particular product is heavily discounted but only for a certain number of hours or while stocks last.
For example, a pair of Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers were on sale today for $85 instead of $120 and were quickly snapped up. Big savings can be had however, the catch is that to make the most of the offers you have to keep going back to the Lightning Deals page to see what’s new and you don’t have long to decide whether a product is right for you.
Amazon sales can be a little confusing, so here we’ve cherry picked some of the best bargains around, excluding the lightning deals.

For the fitness focused, Fitbit’s sleep monitoring Versa 2 combines a fitness tracker with a smartwatch and is currently $140 off, meanwhile the more basic Fitbit Charge 4 has been reduced by $59.
For the kids, the Garmin Vivofit Jr 3 tracks steps and sleep and is swim-friendly, and is on sale for $97 from $149.
A great gift for a passionate reader is the 8GB Kindle Paperwhite which is lightweight and waterproof. It’s currently on sale for $169 instead of $239. Another appreciated gift is Bose’s SoundLink Around-Ear wireless headphones which are on sale for $229 instead of $330.
Help around the home:
There are lots of great gadgets for the home that are also on sale. Our favourites include the Philips Series 800i Air Purifier which is currently 30 percent off and the Philips XXL Air Fryer which is down to $275 from $429.
Another good buy is this Instant Pot Duo Nova multi cooker that slow cooks, pressure cooks, sautes and cooks rice, all in the one device. It’s down to $150 instead of the usual price of $269.
For a little help with the household cleaning, ECOVACS’ Deebot OZMO920 two-in-one robot vacuum and mop is 40 percent off, on sale for $479 from $799. The less expensive Deebot N79T robot vacuum is also on sale, reduced to $199 from $279.
Kids toys:
If you haven’t finalised your Christmas shopping for the kids yet, you can make the most of the deals on offer this week.
This LEGO mobile batmobile base is great for kids over eight and is on sale for $120 from $150, while younger kids will enjoy playing with the animals in this LEGO DUPLO tropical island town that’s been discounted by 30 percent.
They can race around the track with this BRIO 26-piece railway starter set, suitable for kids over the age of three, or let their imagination run wild with a new set of Faber-Castell colouring pencils that have been discounted by 39 percent.
Big kids will make the most of this Playstation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller which is on sale for $79 instead of $110.
