Alyssa Scott Shares Touching Tribute to Her and Nick Cannon's Son Zen 3 Years After His Death: 'I Love You My Son'

The former couple share daughter Halo Marie, 23 months, and son Zen, who died from a brain tumor at 5 months old

Alyssa Scott is honoring her late son on the third anniversary of his death.

On Thursday, Dec. 5, the model, 30, shared a touching Instagram post in honor of her and Nick Cannon's son Zen, who died of a brain tumor at 5 months old in December 2021. Three years later, Scott continues to show her love for her boy, sharing a sweet picture of him lying in bed.

"I will be wrapped in your blanket thinking of every single moment I spent with you," the mom of two wrote, referring to the small pink and white blanket seen in the photo. "I love you my son 12•5•21 🕊️🤍."

Scott and Cannon are also parents to daughter Halo Marie, 23 months.

Last January, both the Masked Singer host, 44, and Scott shared moments from a special beach trip with Halo. The three visited the beach where Cannon and Scott spent time with Zen days before his death.

Scott's post featured a black and white video where she twirled Halo as the sunlight shined down on them as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" played. Cannon appeared later in the video, playing peekaboo with his baby girl, while she was in her mom's arms.

"Dreams really do come true 🤍 mommy & daddy love you," she captioned the video,

Cannon later shared his own Reel from the day, with many of the same moments but in color. In his video, the sounds of the beach could be heard behind the family of three, who enjoyed the special time together.

"Zen’s Light and presence shining over little miss Halo and Mommy and Daddy! What a beautiful day to remind us all that there is a higher power and God’s Energy and frequency to keep us all going under his grace and mercy even in the midst of challenges. ❤️🙏🏾@itsalyssaemm," he captioned the post.
