Speculation is growing that Baby Sussex has made their entrance, and we just don’t know it yet.

The suspicions have ramped up following shock claims by UK radio presenter Chris Evans, that the baby is here.

The 53-year-old openly told listeners, ‘I think I know something' when the topic of the much-anticipated bub came up.

His co-presenter quizzed him on the revelation, asking him to share a ‘little hint’.

He followed that up by simply coming out with it.

“Well, there's more than a hint, what more of a hint do you want, other than the fact that I think there might be a new royal baby already?” he said.

It’s unclear if the presenter has an inside scoop, or if he’s simply putting two and two together.

“The Queen has been to see them. Now, that doesn't happen,” was the only evidence he gave.

The rumours, however, have been circulating for a few weeks, thanks to some glaring hints that royal observers have picked up on.

1. The Queen’s visit

As Evans pointed out, royal sources say the Queen visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Frogmore Cottage - and straight away alarm bells started ringing in our heads.

It’s well known that the Queen is always the first person to be notified when a new baby has been born into the royal family.

And considering how close a bond Her Majesty is reported to have with the 37-year-old duchess, it’s highly likely that instead of telephoning the couple with her congratulations, she decided to pop in and do it in person instead.

It’s also a very unusual move from the monarch, who rarely pays visits preferring to receive guests at her own convenience.

2. Will and Kate’s visit

Prior to the Queen’s visit, Kate and Will popped in to Frogmore for afternoon tea following the Easter service last Sunday April 28th.

It is suspected that this visit marks the first time Will and Kate have been to the cottage, after Harry and Meghan moved in following extensive renovations of the property.

Meghan has not been seen in public since mid-March as part of her maternity leave, and it could well have been Prince William’s last chance to wish the couple luck before Baby Sussex’s arrival, as he flew into New Zealand on Anzac Day.

3. Harry’s upcoming trip

The Duke of Sussex is planning on visiting the Netherlands next week, sparking speculation that he could be a father by then — or already is.

Prince Harry, will undertake an official engagement in Amsterdam, before travelling to The Hague to officially launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games.

Because of the timing of the trip, from May 8 to 9, royal watchers are now anticipating a birth announcement.

4. Due date

ITV’s royal correspondent Chris Ship claimed that the official due date came and went last weekend on the 27th of April.

“We know the baby is due, in fact I can tell you that the due date is pretty much today,” Chris told Good Morning Britain.

“Today, tomorrow, we really are in the realms of imminent arrival.”

If true, Meghan would most likely have delivered by now.

5. It’s a minefield of royal birthdays

Harry and Meghan have reason to sit on an announcement, if the baby has already arrived, as they may not want to steal anyone’s thunder.

There has been a minefield of royal birthdays of late, and it’s possible the pair don’t want to take away from any of the family members’ special days.

The Queen celebrated her birthday on the 21st of April, Prince Louis turned one on the 23rd of the month, and Princess Charlotte celebrates her fourth year today.

Whether the baby has arrived or not, it’s a busy few months of birthdays for the royals.

6. No announcement is anticipated

It’s almost guaranteed that the baby will arrive a few days before we are notified.

Buckingham Palace officially revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will keep the birth of their baby private in mid-April.

It is understood that there will not be a traditional photo call outside a hospital like we’ve come to expect from Kate.

Instead, it is likely that photographs of Meghan and Harry’s baby will be released a few days after the birth, meaning the current speculation is entirely probable.

Regardless, there’s sure to be news just around the corner and frankly it couldn’t come soon enough.
