Will and Kate’s secret visit to see Meghan
Meghan and Harry welcomed some special visitors on Easter Sunday, with reports circulating that Will and Kate popped in for a cuppa after church.
The Royals were all sotted out attending the tradition Easter church service, with Meghan being a notable exception.
Now a source has told Harpers Bazaar that Kate and Will made a secret stop at Frogmore Cottage after the service at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
“William and Catherine visited because Meghan was unable to attend the service,” the source said.
“They wanted to be supportive and see how she is doing. It was a lovely afternoon.”
It is suspected that this visit marks the first time Will and Kate have been to Frogmore, after Harry and Meghan moved in following extensive renovations of the property.
Meghan has not been seen in public since mid-March as part of her maternity leave, and it could well have been Prince Williams last chance to wish the couple luck before Baby Sussex’s arrival, as he flew into New Zealand on Anzac day.
Five years after his last visit, Prince William visited New Zealand to pay tribute to those affected by the terror attack last month, and to participate in ANZAC day memorials.
It would also explain the warm sentiment between Harry and Kate when they attended the Anzac Day service at Westminster Abbey together, both of their spouses being absent.
The appearance quieted some rumours of a rift between the brothers, after the latest development reported the royal family is moving Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex and their growing family to Africa.
Meghan is believed to be due any day, and with her mother by her side and a visit from her in-laws ticked off the list, she is surely feeling the family support as she prepares to welcome her first baby.
