Yahoo Lifestyle Alicia Keys Marries Tradition and Modernity in Gold Corset and Dramatic Earrings in Dolce & Gabbana at 2025 Grammys
Alicia Keys opted for an ornate look on the red carpet at the 67th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The singer added a notch to her belt at the event, becoming one of the most awarded Black women at the event. She won the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album from her Broadway musical “Hell’s Kitchen,” which is loosely based on her life. She produced the album. The accolade makes her the third most-awarded Black woman behind Beyonce and Aretha Franklin.
To accept the honor, Keys went for gilded gold. The performer wore a black dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda collection, shown last summer. The dress was sleeveless but sculpted, with strong shoulders.

Most prominently, the dress featured a gold corset-like bodice. It began under the bust and featured various designs throughout in gold. The look was the opening look from the Alta Moda show, which the brand said “each creation pays homage to Sardinia’s deep historical roots, a land rich in symbols and profound meanings that transports observers on a journey through tradition and modernity.”
The earrings Keys chose included not only gold, but various jewels as well.
The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, celebrated the best in music while also raising funds for wildfire relief efforts in California and honoring first responders. Beyoncé led the nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods. Other top nominees included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
