Ali Oetjen chasing her 'dream' career as a singer

The Bachelorette’s Ali Oetjen has opened up to fans about her interesting new career path.

The reality star is most famous for her appearances on The Bachelor, Bachelor In Paradise and the latest season of The Bachelorette.

And she’s built up a huge following thanks to her love of healthy and fitness, but it turns out the star now wants to make it as a singer.

Ali surprised her fans by admitting she would be “chasing” her dreams because her boyfriend Taite had convinced her to share her voice “with the world.”

“I’m chasing my dreams. I’m doing what I do every day and that’s living a healthy lifestyle and inspiring people to do the same. And it’s so rewarding. And (if) I can do it, so can you,” she explained.

“I’m also singing, which is surprising. Taite’s gotten me to sing. [It] has just opened up this side of me that just wants to release all my emotions and share my voice with the world. And it’s the best feeling.”

And the star is clearly feeling happy about her new career path as she then shared a post on her Instagram feed and changed her Insta bio to say “singer”.

“It feels good to be lost in the right direction… so fulfilling chasing my passions I know success is walking with enthusiasm, purpose & love from failure to failure,” she wrote.

Time will tell how her music career goes as fans were previously left “cringing” over her vocals in the Bachelorette advert.

The promo saw her in a bright red ball gown, doing her best to channel Marilyn Monroe.

But as the Bachelorette broke into a rendition of ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’ with host Osher Günsberg looking on and promising to help her find “Mr Right”, viewers lost it.

Taking to Twitter to voice their disappointment, fans of the Channel Ten show labelled the clip “cringe” and called it “absolutely terrible”.
