Ali Fedotowsky-Manno Jokes She and Husband Kevin Had Kids Because 'Nobody Would Come Over' for Their Fourth of July Party
The former Bachelorette is mom to daughter Molly, 8, and son Riley, 6
Ali Fedotowsky-Manno took matters into her own hands when her friends wouldn't come over for her Fourth of July party.
On the Tuesday, Jan. 21 episode of Savannah Chrisley's podcast Unlocked, the former Bachelorette star, 40, opened up about welcoming her daughter Molly, now 8, before getting married to husband Kevin Manno.
"We got engaged. Then as soon as we got engaged, we decided we wanted to get pregnant but we didn’t want to wait for a wedding so then we started trying for a baby," Fedotowsky-Manno explained on the podcast. "Had my daughter first then had the wedding.”

Saying that she felt like she was "getting older," the now mom of two joked that there was one situation in particular that made her really want to start having kids.
“I feel like maybe I had her, maybe right before 30 or right after 30. 31, maybe. I’m not really old, not at all," Fedotowsky-Manno recalled. "At the time in my head, I was like, ‘Yes, I could wait, plan this wedding for a year and then try to get pregnant.' Who knows how long that’s going to take. I just wanted… I really wanted kids."
"So one day I remember exactly it was Fourth of July and we were engaged and we were at our house swimming in the pool in the backyard and we were trying to invite friends over to come hang out with us on July 4th, like have a party," she continued.
"And nobody would come over. We couldn’t get our friends to come over and we’re like let’s just make our own friends," Fedotowsky-Manno said of her and husband Kevin. "I’m like, ‘We’re old enough, everyone’s doing their own thing. You want to have a baby?’ He’s like, ‘Let’s have a baby.’ "
In August 2023, Fedotowsky-Manno posted a few cute photos of her daughter Molly on her first day of first grade, with the mom of two reflecting on her daughter repeating the year.
"First day of FIRST grade PART TWO!!! HERE WE GO!!! You guys know what a big deal today is to us. Wish her luck!" she captioned the shots.
