Alexander Skarsgård to take 'all sorts of virginities' from “Harry Potter” star in 'kinky' queer biker movie

The upcoming British film "Pillion" stars Harry Melling as a "weedy wallflower" who becomes a "24/7 submissive" to the handsome leader of a motorcycle gang.

They didn't always seem like parallel franchises, but it's finally time for a Harry Potter star to get the 50 Shades of Grey treatment.

Harry Melling, who played Dudley Dursley in the popular wizard films, is set to become a "24/7 submissive" to Alexander Skarsgård in the upcoming British film Pillion.

Described as "a fun and filthy romance," Pillion stars Melling as Colin, "a weedy wallflower letting life pass him by." But that changes when he meets Ray (Skarsgård), the impossibly handsome leader of a motorcycle gang.

Ray brings Colin out of his dreary suburban existence and into a community of kinky queer bikers, "taking all sorts of virginities along the way." But eventually Colin starts to wonder if life as a sub is actually liberating, or if it's just replacing one form of suffocation for another.

Pillion is the feature-film debut from director Harry Lighton, who also wrote the script. Lighton previously directed the short film Wren Boys, which earned him a BAFTA Award nomination in 2018. Pillion will be produced by Element Pictures and distributed by Cornerstone, with funding from BBC Film and the British Film Institute.

“Harry’s script is equally compelling and shocking as it is funny and entertaining — and one of the best we’ve read in years," Alison Thompson and Mark Gooder of Cornerstone said in a statement. "The casting is inspired, and we are thrilled to unleash this brilliant project in the Cannes market.”

Meanwhile, Melling continues to accumulate one of the most intriguing post-Potter careers out there. His remarkable performance as a limbless artist in the Coen brothers' 2018 film, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, put him on many directors' radars, leading to roles like his turn as Edgar Allan Poe in 2022's The Pale Blue Eye.
