Yahoo Lifestyle Alec Baldwin Breaks Down in New Trailer for TLC’s ‘The Baldwins’
Alec Baldwin fans are about to get a behind-the-scenes look at his life as a husband and father of eight children.
In a new trailer for The Baldwins on TLC, Alec and his wife Hilaria Baldwin open up about what it's like raising a large family in the spotlight—including the challenges they faced as parents when Alec was charged with involuntary manslaughter after a gun he was holding on the set of the film Rust discharged and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
"Seven children, six animals, and two parents...wild family," Hilaria said in the clip featuring footage of the family baking together in the kitchen, posing for silly pics and walking through Manhattan. Other moments showed chaotic family fun, like Alec warning his kids not to "pee in the pool" and the littlest Baldwins jumping all over their dad.
All seven of the children Hilaria and Alec share—Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2, María Lucía Victoria, 2½, Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 6, Romeo Alejandro David, 7, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 8, Rafael Thomas, 9, and Carmen Gabriela, 11—will be featured in the reality series.
It's unclear whether Alec's eldest daughter, Ireland, 29, will make an appearance. (Alec shares Ireland with his ex, Kim Basinger.)

The trailer also documented the emotional fallout of Alec's trial.
"A son lost his mom in the most unthinkable tragedy. This is never something to forget, and we're trying to parent through it," Hilaria said, as the video showed Alec breaking down in a confessional.
"Honestly, from the bottom of my soul, I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have you and these kids," the 66-year-old actor told his wife.
"We've had bad moments, but we found our foundation...We're solid and we're here together," Hilaria said in the voiceover.
The Baldwins will premiere Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 ET on TLC, with episodes streaming on Max the day after.
