Aldi's $299 'wine bottle' outdoor setting to send shoppers into a frenzy

Whenever furniture comes up in the special buys for Aldi, fans of the store go wild for the products. In pre-pandemic times there would sometimes be a line outside the store to try and get hold of the item that they wanted as they were often in short supply.

With Aldi now offering to home deliver a number of their larger items in some states, it hasn't necessarily meant that the sought-after item that you're so keen to get your hands on will be available.

One of thee most popular ranges over the years has been Aldi's outdoor range. From copies of top-selling smokers and gas fire tables to egg chairs and gazebos.

And the outdoor wicker ranges are always huge sellers. From hanging chairs to outdoor lounge sets these are highly sought-after not only for their look but their quality as well.

This Saturday is no exception as they prepare to make a 'wine bottle' outdoor setting available.

Now if, like me, you were looking for a secret chiller compartment for your sauv blanc, you may be disappointed. The set is named for the shape it takes on when it is stacked away.

But however you look at it, for $299, it's a bargain. Similar sets can cost you up to $990 else where with most at least $150 more expensive.

"The Belavi Wine Bottle Outdoor Setting embraces the best of outdoor life in Australia," Aldi describes it online.

"Comfortable enough to enjoy the outdoors and compactly stacks when not in use. Featuring UV Treated PE Rattan weaving and waterproof 230gsm polyester cushions, the Belavi setting is sure to provide a comfortable place to relax on your balcony for many years to come."

And given that Aldi Belavi Egg Chair sells out every year, this new addition to the range is bound to be popular too.

Devotees of other Aldi online sales have advised people to get online early on the day the item goes on sale.

"You will need to be on your computer ready to go. If possible have a few people trying to get one and keep refreshing the page," one fan suggested.

So set the alarm if you want to have a chance at bagging this bargain on Saturday!

On sale online Saturday 16th October from 8.30am AEDT in NSW, ACT and VIC or 7.30am in QLD.
