Run, don't walk, people! Aldi is selling super cheap Ugg boots and they are flying off the shelves.

The latest Aldi Special Buys sending shoppers into a spin are the UGG Slipper Boots available in stores.

The boots are made with genuine Australian sheepskin and are multi-purpose, meaning they can be used both indoors or outside.

Being water-resistant and having temperature regulating properties, the boots are perfect for camping or just lounging around the house.

They're available in two colours, Chestnut or Chocolate, and are available in women's sizes 37 to 40 and men's sizes 40 to 45.

But if you want to snag a pair you had better get in quick. Shoppers are already getting excited about the popular boots selling for the "bargain" price of $49.99.

'Such a good deal!'

"Great buy, they’ll sell fast," one person commented about the Special Buy on the Aldi Facebook page.

"These will fly out the door!!" added another.

"Is there anything Aldi doesn't have?" commented a third.

Meanwhile, others who had already purchased a pair of the UGG branded boots said they were worth the hype.

"This is a fabulous brand. I have this brand and so do my kids now. Well done Aldi," one customer commented.

"These are excellent boots," wrote another.

But not everyone's happy

While most people thought the Special Buy was a steal, others weren’t so happy to see them in stores, pointing out they're not Australian-made.

“Keep in mind that UGG brand was stolen by an American company and won in court to have it taken from the original Aussie man that invented them,” one person wrote.

“He now had to rename the Aussie ones ORIGINAL UGG not just UGG.”

“This company is destroying the Australian UGG businesses. Made in China,” added another.

“Made in China peeps, just for those that think 'Australian Sheepskin' means it was made here, it doesn’t,” cautioned a third.

If it’s Aussie-made boots you’re after, others said it might be worth holding out on the Special Buy and shopping around for Aussie alternatives.

Aldi has also warned customers that there may be shipping delays impacting some Special Buys. You can find out more about stock levels in your state at aldi.com.au/specials.
