Aldi $129 dog vacuum Aussie pet owners are clamouring to buy: 'LOVE it'

Why vacuum the floor when you can vacuum the dog instead?

Aussie pet owners are desperate to get their hands on the latest special buy from Aldi; a dog grooming kit designed to tackle even the most stubborn fur—and yes, it actually vacuums the dog.

Priced at $129, the Pet Play grooming kit offers a comprehensive set of accessories to address various pet grooming needs. The kit comes with the vacuum as well as a clipper head, grooming and de-shedding brushes, crevice nozzle (we don't wanna know...), and a range of combs.

Social media users are going barking mad over this all-in-one solution that offers pet owners an efficient grooming experience for their furry friends.

In a Facebook group dedicated to Aldi fans, a conversation was sparked by a fluffy Golden Retriever mum seeking reviews on the dog grooming product. She enquired, "Has anyone used this pet vacuum? Does it actually work?"

The post quickly garnered an overwhelming response from enthusiastic users. One delighted owner, who has multiple dogs including two shedding-prone Pugs, shared their experience, stating: "We got one today and I LOVE it. It works really well and isn't too loud. I even used it on three of our cats."

Another satisfied customer chimed in: "I used it on my German Shepherd. Love it."

A third echoed the sentiment: "I have a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd long coat, love it."

Amidst the praise, a curious commenter raised a question about how the product actually works.

"Does it vacuum the dog?" they asked.

One user quickly responded, "Yes, apparently it does!"

However, not everyone was convinced, as one person expressed concern about their anxious dogs being frightened by the noise.

"I'm not sure how mine would go," chimed in another user, "Would love to try before I buy."

However, a different dog owner shared their perspective, "My Golden Retriever used to let me vacuum her. Even if the vacuum is average, it did help!"

Despite the overwhelmingly positive responses, one group member claiming to be a dog groomer offered an alternative viewpoint.

She suggested, "You'd be better off buying a pet blow dryer off eBay and a good undercoat rake."
