Another week, another item in the Aldi Finds aisle that’s super useful. If you’re familiar with the housewares and lifestyle aisle in the grocery chain—the one shoppers lovingly call the Aisle of Shame because they can’t seem to pass by without grabbing an item (or two or three)—then you know it often has copycat versions of high-end products at a fraction of the price.

In the past month, that aisle has been full of handy items such as produce keepers, a Hydro Flask copycat, and an expandable, collapsible colander that functions just like one Crate and Barrel sells for three times the price.

Unfortunately, if you were to stroll down the Aisle of Shame this week, you probably wouldn’t find any of these items. The hard-to-resist Aldi Finds go on the shelves on Wednesdays and by the following week, they’re usually gone, making way for the next week’s deals.

Fortunately, there’s always something new and useful in the aisle and this week, we have our eye on baking dishes that are begging to be filled with deliciousness in the upcoming fall season.

Aldi’s $10 Crofton Baking Dishes Look Just Like Staub's

If you’re at that point in summer when you have a hankering for foods with a fall vibe—such as Scalloped Sweet Potatoes and Butternut Squash, a Baked Apple French Toast Casserole, or Apple Cranberry Crumble—you’re going to need a baking or casserole dish to cook them in.

Staub makes attractive ceramic baking dishes that are durable and look pretty at the table, but depending on the size, they can get pretty pricey (a 10.5x7.5-inch dish is currently listed at $50). Aldi's new Crofton dishes are similarly sized, but only cost $9.99. They come in three shapes (square, rectangular, and oval) and two colors: classic white or gorgeous moss green. Both would look good on a table during any season of the year.

The Crofton baking dishes are high-fired ceramic with a scratchproof glaze that's stain resistant, easy to clean, and oven-safe up to 450 degrees F.  They’re pretty enough to go straight from oven to table—with a heat-protectant trivet underneath, of course.

Once you get your hands on the new Aldi baking dishes, you don’t have to wait until fall to break them in. With all of summer’s beautiful produce still filling the tables at your farmers market, a delicious ratatouille, peach cobbler, or grandma-approved tomato pie could all be the perfect inaugural recipe to make in your Crofton bakeware.
