Al Roker's granddaughter is definitely making Santa's nice list this year!

On Tuesday, Dec. 10, the news anchor, 70, shared an adorable picture to his Instagram of his daughter Courtney Roker Laga, 37, and granddaughter Sky, 17 months, smiling with Santa. In his caption, the proud grandpa revealed that this was Sky's first time meeting Saint Nick.

"My little girl’s first visit with Santa," Roker wrote. "She did much better than her Mom’s first time with the jolly old elf!"

Courtney and her husband Wesley Laga welcomed their daughter Sky Lara in July 2023, making Roker an official "pop-pop."

On an October episode of Today, Roker was joined by his daughter as they shared their recipe for salmon burgers from their cookbook, Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By: Easy Memory-Making Family Dishes for Every Occasion.

After cooking up their burgers, Wesley entered the set holding the baby girl, who had tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Oh, were you crying, sweetheart?" Roker asked as he took Sky from his son-in-law. "You wanted your pop-pop. There we go," he said while bouncing his granddaughter in his arms.

Courtney then tried feeding Sky some pudding, but she rejected the offer, pushing the spoon away with her little hand.

"I think she got scared with the kitchen aid," Courtney joked, referring to her stand mixer that had just exploded flour all over the counter.
