In early January, viewers were stunned to learn that Heidi would be returning to host Project Runway for the show's upcoming season 21. It came as a shock for longtime fans, given how she'd been a host and judge for the first 16 seasons before exiting in 2017 to work on other TV projects. Even though she's since hosted Making the Cut and is a current emcee and judge on Germany's Next Top Model, it's AGT that many people know her for these days.

"I guess an exit announcement from AGT is imminent now?" the post read. "I don’t see how she’ll do both along with all her other commitments."
Naturally, seeing this had other fans worried — but they also had some ideas about how Heidi could possibly star on both shows.
"Not necessarily. She can do both depending on the filming schedule," one person proposed in the comments. "Project Runway seems to be taping February through March, which is usually before AGT maybe with a little bit of overlap, but I hope you're right tbh," another commented.
So, does this mean folks won't see Heidi on America's Got Talent season 20? As of right now, it appears that she will be making her return to the show, thanks to a key clue posted on the show's official ticketing website. Amid the show cancelling filming auditions in Los Angeles due to the wildfires, there was a note left on the page that seemingly confirmed Heidi's upcoming role:
"AGT will be back at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in March 2025 for next season's auditions with judges, Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel with host, Terry Crews. See you soon!"
