Adele Confirms Engagement to Longtime Boyfriend Rich Paul in Sweet Video
Adele is officially an engaged woman!
On Aug. 8, the "Set Fire to the Rain" songstress confirmed that she and her longtime boyfriend, Rich Paul, are engaged to be married. The news came on the heels of photos of Adele rocking a huge diamond ring on her left hand.
During Adele's concert in Munich, Germany, on Thursday, she seemingly read a poster in the crowd asking for her hand in marriage.
"'Will you marry me?' I can't marry you because I'm already getting married. So, I can't," she said in a video shared via X. "But I appreciate it very, very much."

The NBA agent, 42, and singer, 36, have been dating since early 2021, Vogue reported, although they didn't make their first public appearance as a couple until July 17. They attended Game 5 of the NBA finals for that first date in the spotlight.
In September 2021, Adele and Paul went "Instagram official" when she included a snap of them posing together in the last segment of a photo carousel.

More recently, the "Hello" singer turned heads when she referred to Paul as her "husband" during a Sept. 16 concert in Las Vegas as part of her residency.
Adele spoke with a woman in the audience when the fan asked, "Can I marry you?"
“You can’t marry me, I’m straight my love,” Adele replied. “And my husband’s here tonight.”
On Oct. 9, Gayle King subtly asked Paul about his marital status during an appearance on CBS Mornings.

“When I see her, should I say ‘Hi, Mrs. Paul?'" King wondered, to which Paul expertly dodged the question, saying, "You can say whatever you want."
During that interview, Paul also noted that he was "in a good space, happy," adding. "We’ve been great for each other."
