The powerhouse singers' emotional meeting in Vegas was a full circle moment for the pair, after Adele came to see Dion perform at the same theater in concert a few years ago.

In January 2018, Adele visited Dion backstage after she performed at the Colosseum during the “Power of Love” singer’s second Vegas residency.

In a post shared on Instagram at the time, Dion wrote after meeting Adele at her show, “Wasn’t able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them… I love her so much!!”

Superfan Adele also wrote on Instagram of the experience, “Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life, thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humor. Happy New Year lady x.”

The British singer has long been a huge fan of Dion, and also revealed in a 73 Questions video for Vogue in 2021 that her "proudest possession," is a framed piece of Dion's gum.

""It's pretty amazing," the singer told the outlet in the clip. "James Corden — who's a friend of mine but also does Carpool Karaoke, which I did — did one with her. He knew how much of a fan I was of her and he made her spit her gum into a piece of paper and she framed it for me."

Adele is set to bring her two-year Vegas residency to a close in November.

While performing in concert in Munich in September, the 16-time Grammy winner shared that she plans to step away from music for a “long time” once her residency comes to an end.

In a video posted on TikTok Adele told fans onstage, "I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart."
