In reaction to the question, which was posed by Vanity Fair, Sandler energetically proclaimed, "A 12!"

He went on, praising Kelce's comedic talent as he said, "Funny as hell, funny as hell! No kidding, unbelievable."

The video was then shared to a Kelce brothers fan account, with many Kelce supporters sharing their excitement about the new movie and his role.

"Can’t wait to watch this!" wrote one fan, as another agreed with Sandler's praise of Kelce's acting talent as they said, "Travis is a natural!"

Fans finally got their first look at Kelce's appearance in the film in a short teaser released on Dec. 25 by Netflix. In the clip, Kelce appears for a moment, seemingly dressed as a waiter or other employee as he says, "It's great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore."

The sequel is set to come out on Netflix soon, although an official release date has not been revealed. Along with Sandler and Kelce, the star-studded lineup also includes Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, Ben Stiller, Margaret Qualley, Bad Bunny and more.

While Happy Gilmore 2 is Kelce's first movie role, he has already acted a bit in television. In 2020, he played a fictional version of himself in the comedy series Moonbase 8, and he gained a lot of attention for his role in the Ryan Murphy series Grotesquerie last year opposite Niecy Nash.
