Former underwear model Dornan, 31, has only just joined the cast of this adaptation of EL James' best-selling book series.

He replaced Charlie Hunnam who unexpectedly quit the project last month.

He tells the mag: "I'm a fairly worldly guy. I grew up in a very liberal place. I'm not saying we had a playroom, but I'm not shocked by [the sex in the book]. It's essential to tell the story. I can't believe films that don't invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me."

Johnson, most famous for a small role in 'The Social Network', was cast back in September and revealed she had been going to gym to shape up for the film’s numerous sex scenes.

"Obviously, I want to look good naked," she said.

'Fifty Shades Of Grey' will be released in February 2015 (just in time for an awkward Valentine's Day date).

It was originally scheduled for release in August 2014.
