3.Paradis Takes a Snow Day for Fall 2025
Emeric Tchatchoua wants to encourage us to slow down. “I was home watching a movie, and my phone kept on ringing. It made me think about when I was a kid, when everyone always watched all the way through,” said last year’s ANDAM Special Prize winner backstage ahead of his show. “This is basically an invitation for people to pause and take their time.”
Thanks to a collaboration with luxury bedding specialist Dumas Paris, duvets and pillows doubled up as tops and coats, while knits came with detachable collars like flight cushions.

Padded cocoon-like silhouettes, mostly white, evoked snowmen, enveloping the body to suggest comfort. Some of the outerwear, like a cropped black bomber, was inflatable, as demonstrated by the designer on a model by blowing into a straw hidden inside.
The crisp quiet of the snowy landscapes of Canada, where Tchatchoua grew up, provided aesthetic inspiration. “It’s this idea of being frozen in time,” he said.
This allowed him to continue to explore textile innovation with Les Teintures de France, resulting in some of the most visually interesting pieces. On a tailored gray wool coat, salt crystals were applied to the shoulders like a dusting of snow, while a synthetic fur T-shirt, coated with silicone, looked drenched. The signatures the designer has become known for, like double-waisted pants and hand-painted tailoring, were less prominent this season.
Accessories and motifs were inspired by binge-watching Bruce Lee movies on repeat while stuck indoors. Tchatchoua used the actor’s image on clutches shaped like DVD cases, while a yellow and black biker jacket and a couple of silhouettes with ’70s lines also took their inspiration here, contrasting with the bulk of the voluminous lineup.
