16 Spicy Office Romances And Affairs That Actually Changed People's Lives Forever

We asked members of the BuzzFeed Community who have either participated in or witnessed an office romance/affair to tell us their stories. We received so many wildddd submissions that we had to make a part five! Here's what people revealed:

1."I was a server for a high-end celebrity chef restaurant, and my chemistry with the chef was there from the jump. It started with flirting and turned into a full-on affair. We were both in 'committed' long-term relationships, but that didn't stop us. We were drawn to each other like moths to a flame. The sex was incredible. We made out in every hidden corner of that fine-dining restaurant. We had sex in our cars before and after work. We took any opportunity to put our hands or mouths on each other. His wife worked at a nearby restaurant and would pass by mean-mugging me. She caught us in his car and tried to block us in. We got out, but the next day, the side of my car had 'whore' keyed into it."

"It was fun explaining that to my husband. This was years ago, and I still think about him. I'm not the first affair he had, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't the last. I'd probably sleep with him again if I saw him today because it was so hot."

2."My now-husband and I met when we were working at a zoo, and both were married to other people. The first time I laid eyes on him (at my interview), I felt an instant attraction. Nothing happened for seven months except some flirting and friendship. Again, we were both married to other people. My marriage had been unhappy for some time, but I had no intentions of leaving for the sake of my children. After working on an event one night, he asked me to kiss him. We had sex that night in my office. I figured it would have been a one-night thing, and we would never discuss it again. That couldn't have been further from the truth. We had some pretty amazing 'encounters' while working at the zoo and would often get hotel rooms in the afternoon. His wife had tracking on his phone, so he always left it in his office."

"We both left our marriages and now have a child of our own. I never wanted to be that person who cheated on their spouse, but it couldn't be stopped. He was and will always be my person. I've never been in love like this and have never felt so loved by anyone in my life."

3."In my school, a student teacher and a tenured teacher were getting it on in the technology (wood shop) classroom. They were caught by a custodian and turned in. Later, I asked the custodian, 'Why do you think they were doing it on a workbench? They have a photography darkroom right there and would have been out of sight.' Without batting an eyelash, he said, 'Probably afraid of what might develop.'"

4."I once worked at a car auction, and many car dealers would flirt with me. I took a liking to one of the men who would come weekly who lived out of state. He was married, and I was single. Flirting led to him asking to take me to dinner one night. That ended up with us at this hotel, and we continued things for three years after that. He would take me to expensive restaurants and buy me anything I asked for. He even paid several of my utility bills when I was low on cash. I ended up leaving that job for another, and we have not seen each other since. He's still married, and I am married myself. But oh my, was it a blast while it lasted!"

5."I was in a loveless marriage. We tried counseling and therapy, but nothing changed. It was a low point for me. I loved and admired her, but she never wanted sex and refused to try. The first five or six years were incredibly hot and heavy, and then, one day, there was no more. I began flirting with a girl who did IT support in my office. I didn't think she was actually interested. I was 21 years older and married. But she was into it, and we began having an affair. We made out constantly in little nooks and ever had sex in my office a few times. It was exciting, and the sex was mind-blowing. She had a job lined up 1,700 miles away, and we thought we'd have fun until she moved. But we fell hard for each other, and I helped her get a much better job locally. That job went gangbusters because she's brilliant, and finally, the right people saw that, so now she's got a phenomenal career."

"I'm divorced now, and we're still going strong nine years later. No one at my office ever found out, which is so shocking. My colleagues think we had mutual crushes way back when and now have reconnected, which they describe as 'adorable.'"

6."I was 27, working at a major finance firm in Chicago when my boss got a new admin. She was 22, fresh out of college, and model-beautiful. She was friendly but distant with everyone in the office, and I knew I, as a relatively average-looking guy, had no shot with her. One day, though, we were at a business lunch with our boss and two others when the two left early, and our boss got a call he needed to take. We ended up talking one-on-one, and we really clicked. I asked her out, and she said yes, but she called it off three dates in because she feared it would reflect badly on her in the workplace and distract her from her job. I understood and tried to move on but couldn't, and a few months later, we tried again. We kept things quiet until we were actually engaged."

"The only person who knew was our boss. That year and a half of trying to act like she was just another coworker when other coworkers, visitors, and vendors would all hit on her (and sometimes be disrespectful) was tough. My one work friend in particular, who was on wife number three at age 30, kept asking me while in the office how she was in bed, and that made me want to murder him.

However, she is the love of my life. I'll always be grateful I put myself out there and asked the woman who was way out of my league to have dinner with me. We are 10 years in and stronger than ever."

7."I've been sleeping with my husband's boss for over a year. Last year, I found a suspicious app on my husband's phone and asked him about it. He told me he used it to communicate with coworkers during the day. I went through those messages as soon as I could sneak a peek. Most of them were with a female coworker who had befriended me outside the office. It was clear that they were involved romantically and had been for quite a while. My husband's boss is 20 years older than me, has been married for over 30 years, and is a stone-cold fox. He's always been flirty, but I just assumed it was a personality trait. One night, on a drunken whim, I sent him a suggestive meme."

"He asked if I had mistakenly sent it to the wrong person, and I told him I had not. After that, we began having regular conversations. We talked about everything: his time in the service, my first marriage, our children and his grandkids, hobbies, interests, and all the classic bands he saw in person. The companionship was nice, and after a couple of months, we started discussing past sexual relationships and hookups. It didn't take long for those conversations to become talks about what we'd like to do to each other.

We hooked up on his lunch break about four months after I first contacted him. It was incredible! I had never been with anyone older than me, which was another experience. He was very attentive and giving, and it took up more than half of his lunch hour, which was quite different from the five minutes I was lucky to get out of my husband.

It's been so much fun that neither of us can believe how quickly a year has passed. We hook up at least three times a week, but it's every day most weeks. We're both still married, and my husband still thinks he's a stud with a stay-at-home wife and girlfriend on the side."

8."When I was an 18-year-old intern at a radio station, I started having an affair with one of the DJs who was probably 10 years older than me. We were both single and thought we were being sneaky, but years later, it turns out everyone knew! He was nice, but I was too young to be serious about anyone."

9."I was working as the treatment director of an alcoholism program, and the woman who did marketing would frequently take me with her on marketing calls to explain the program. We were both married, but eventually, we started making out in empty offices, her car, and even behind bushes. Intercourse and oral were the lines we didn't cross, so it was all making out, dry humping, and getting handsy. It was still so passionate. I think our mutual supervisor saw us making out in her parked car, and while never saying anything directly, shortly after, they gave me a passionate pep talk about sticking in a marriage when things are rough for children's sake. I had a toddler. Point taken. Soon after, I took another job for more pay and to save my marriage by escaping daily temptation. My marriage lasted another couple of years until she left me for another man."

"Things cooled off, but about five years later, my old coworker and I met when I was at an out-of-town conference, and we stayed the night together (still no intercourse) at a hotel for the first time. She ended up divorced, too, but not because of our indiscretion. I have strong feelings of guilt and regret. What if we'd met when we were both single? I really loved her and always wondered."

10."I worked with a woman at a small manufacturing business. Most of the employees were members of her family. She was married to a really good-looking cop and had an affair with an ugly little scumbag. Her whole family knew about it and were cool with it. Other women were very attracted to her husband, but this guy was a Boy Scout and wouldn't leave her. Such a waste. He could have done so much better. I still think about him today."

11."A guy I knew hooked up two women who worked at the same company he did. Their paths would have no reason to cross and never did. At the same time, he was hooking up with a woman who was making pickups and deliveries to our company. He was spending alternate nights with the ladies he worked with and lunches with the delivery driver, so he was getting laid three times a day. This continued until there was a mass layoff, and he was one of the ones let go. He wound up moving in with one of those coworkers."

12."When I was 21, I had an office romance with a 31-year-old office gal. We were out for a happy hour, shooting pool, and playing pull tabs. Before we knew it, we were the last two employees left at the bar, and suddenly, we were making out in my car. Then she asked how I felt about blowjobs. To this day, that is the best blowjob I have ever had in my life, and it was in my car, right next to the front entrance of the bar. That romance lasted until we switched companies and never talked to each other again. I hope she is doing well. She taught me many ways to pleasure a woman and told me I would make somebody very happy someday. Cut to the present: I've been married 12 years to the love of my life, and she is very thankful to that woman for training me so well."

13."I worked in a preschool, and one of my co-workers, E, had a boyfriend who she'd been with since high school. O, her boyfriend, was funny, down-to-earth, and great at fixing things, so he became our director of facilities management (he was in charge of maintenance, including cleaning). He did a great job; nobody could clean a building like he could. E and O had plans for marriage and had two children together. J was an employee who was fired for attendance issues and rehired when my co-teacher resigned. J's attendance was still poor, and when she became my new co-teacher, she threw herself at O. J knew I stood in her way of getting to O, so she used her influence to get me kicked out of our classroom. This enabled her to get to him, and they started sneaking around E's back while E and O were on a break."

"J flaunted her relationship with O in E's face and was fired again, but rehired a third time when she got pregnant by O. Senior leadership knew she was pregnant by O, and they broke the news to E, who was devastated. This caused more drama than necessary, and J played the pity card, saying O took advantage of her as a young woman, and she felt hurt by his actions and how he treated her. She forced senior leadership to feel sorry for her, which they did. This led to staff members choosing sides: Team E or Team J. There were rules in place: E made it clear that J could not be near her and O's 1-year-old son. J made it clear that E could not go near her baby with O. When E's son turned 3, J was moved to a different classroom.

So, due to an office romance, a coworker's heart was broken, her mental health was affected, and her life changed, as she's now a stepmother. I ended up losing a classroom and having my mental health affected as well due to the stress of working with J and the situation as a whole. The sad thing was that senior leadership knew about this entire situation, which could've been avoided by not rehiring J back the second time, which started this in the first place. E and O had two more kids together and are finally engaged. J is a single mom dating whomever she finds but can't keep."

14."In high school, a married male gym teacher/driver's ed teacher was always late because he was 'talking' to one of the home ec teachers. She was married to one of our favorite history teachers, and all the students who saw this were pretty disgusted. The history teacher didn't come as a chaperone on our senior trip, but the other two did. The students tried to ensure they were never alone on our trip. Nothing like 300 student chaperones getting in the way!"

15."I never imagined that I would cheat. Being lonely/ignored while in a relationship is mentally damaging, and any attention becomes addicting. We've known each other for years and have always been in different departments, so if anything were to happen to us, I would never see him again. We both shared a lot together, and he somehow knew how depressed I was at the time. I didn't even know I was depressed. I don't feel bad since I am treated horribly. This has been the best experience of my life. I don't think anyone could understand my situation. We are still hooking up."

16.And: "I met the most beautiful woman at work. We became friends, had a long friends-with-benefits relationship, divorced our spouses, and got married. We were together until she passed away after 58 years of marriage. She was eight years older than me, but that was never a problem."
