New app inspired by Kate Middleton's fashion

The style of our beloved Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has inspired a phone app!

The British royal is the star of a new app called 'Kate's Style List' which tracks every outfit she wears and allows her fashion followers to find out who the piece is by and where they can buy it.

The idea for the app came from former actress Helen Barclay, who models her own looks on the Duchess' style and began developing the tool last Christmas after thinking about the accessibility of the Duchess' much-coveted style.

"She mixes high street with designer so you can find a lot of the things she wears in shops such as Reiss and Zara," Barclay told the Daily Mail.

"I spend a lot of my time trawling fashion websites and looking at the designers' shows online so that I can identify her pieces.

"I also follow a lot of fashion writers on twitter so I know what Kate will be wearing when she next appears."

The app has already been downloaded by thousands of fans and is proving highly popular in America.

Kate is often seen in British high street labels LK Bennett, Reiss and Whistles and is a big fan of designers Alice Temperley and Alexander McQueen.
