How To Do A Bouncy Blowdry
Pin-straight hair will always look chic, but adding some bounce gives hair "a light, airy and understated effect", explains Mark Hampton, global hair ambassador for Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe. Best for: Fine to medium hair.
Get the look:
1. Prep hair with a thermal protector, then apply volumising mousse and blow-dry in large sections to add body. "Focus on getting a good finish and nice smoothness to the hair," advises Hampton. Curl smaller sections around a curling iron and brush out when cool.
3. Finish with a mist of light hairspray.
The kit: Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Prep Heat Protection Mist, $15.99; John Frieda Luxurious Volume Volume Building Mousse, $15.99; L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Normal Strength Hairspray, $9.95.
