Victoria Beckham may be a celebrity, but her 38th birthday yesterday showed she's still a family woman at heart.

Earlier in the day, Victoria tweeted a photo from a room in their house that showed many balloons and flowers, along with a banner that said 'Happy Birthday Mummy' - her accompanying tweet reading: "Having a levelly day with my boys and baby Harper!! Victoria x".

Her boys are of course referring to her husband, football-superstar David Beckham and three sons, Brooklyn - 13, Romeo - nine, and Cruz - six. Her daughter Harper, born only last year, was also spotted later in the day accompanying her mum and dad to a lunch in Beverly Hills.

While her three sons were not spotted, Victoria, David and Harper were seen leaving Nobu Matsuhisa after enjoying a special lunch. She also tweeted the occasion, saying: "Birthday lunch!!! Such a lovely day!!!! X VB" and sent out a photo of a fruit platter that was in place of a cake.

The day also marked Victoria's introduction to twitter. Her husband David introduced her to Facebook, saying "Hi everyone, there is a double celebration today, happy birthday to my beautiful wife Victoria and please welcome her to Facebook Victoria Beckham." Her newly-established page already has almost 100 000 likes.

Although her birthday was a family affair, Victoria's close friend Eva Longoria was seen arriving at Bouchon Bistro, carrying a bronze gift bag from Solange Azagury-Patridge, a British jewellery designer.
