Miley Cyrus: "I Would Rather Choke on My Own Tongue" Than Play Tinker Bell

Miley Cyrus is the perfect candidate to play the role of Tinker Bell in the live production of J.M. Barrie's book Peter Pan, at least according to Star magazine. But the We Can't Stop singer disagrees.

Miley posted a picture of Star's article - in which she's referred to as "Twerker Bell" - on Twitter and captioned it, "I would rather choke on my own tongue." Tell us how you really feel, Miley!

The 21-year-old star is currently on her Bangerz World Tour, which came to Los Angeles on Saturday (22.02.14) and proved an eventful night. After spotting fellow singer Katy Perry in the front row, she went over to her and they briefly locked lips. According to gossip website TMZ, Miley tried to stick her tongue in Katy's mouth but the Roar singer pulled away. After all, she is dating John Mayer.

Miley's butt shaking and revealing outfits have attracted criticism for being too raunchy for her young fan base, but she hit back against the claims last week.

She tweeted on Thursday (20.02.14), "You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour (sic)"

She also wrote, "Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the 'fries with that' (sic)"
