Zoë Kravitz Stepped Out Without Her Engagement Ring for Dinner With Taylor Swift
She and Channing Tatum broke up just over a week ago.
Zoë Kravitz is spending time with friends—some very famous ones, we might add—amidst her breakup with Channing Tatum. On Friday, the newly-single actress was spotted grabbing dinner with Taylor Swift and comedian Jerrod Carmichael at Chez Margaux restaurant in New York City's Meatpacking District.
For the occasion, Kravitz changed up her signature LBD look for a cream-colored silky slip dress with a lacy hem peeking out from beneath her oversized black peacoat. She finished off her outfit with a pair of sheer black tights, slingback kitten heels, and a brown metallic handbag. Dangling silver earrings and a smattering of sparkly rings completed her accessories—however, her ring finger on her left hand was noticeably bare.
Missing from Kravitz's jewelry collection was her whopper of an engagement ring from Tatum. The giant ring—which first made its debut on Kravitz's hand on Halloween last year—featured a 7-carat cushion-cut diamond atop a delicate yellow gold band.
Kravitz's latest outing comes just a little over a week after it was announced that she and Tatum called off their engagement. After dating for three years, the two decided to go their separate ways, but apparently, things ended amicably. “There was no dramatic falling out between Channing and Zoë. They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways,” a source previously told Page Six, noting that the two are still "in touch" with each other.
The insider went on to add that the actress-turned-director and Magic Mike star "both handled the breakup very maturely" and "came to the mutual realization that they were better off friends than romantic partners."
