YouTuber Aspyn Ovard Speaks Out About Divorce After Filing on the Same Day She Welcomed Third Child
The mom influencer broke her silence on her divorce from husband Parker Ferris, which was previously paused in late April
YouTube star Aspyn Ovard is officially speaking out after filing for divorce from her husband, Parker Ferris, on April 1.
In a TikTok posted on Aug. 22, the 27-year-old mom influencer used the ongoing "demure" trend to address why she hasn't publicly talked about her divorce online.
"You see how I considered my children and how it would affect them to have their families personal information shared all over the internet? Very smart, very good mom," she said while holding her newborn in the video.
While Ovard did not share any additional details on the divorce, she said she would "continue to stay unbothered and not share anything to protect my peace."
On Monday, April 1, court documents obtained by PEOPLE revealed that Ovard filed for divorce in Salt Lake City, Utah. On that same day, the lifestyle content creator announced the birth of her third daughter with Ferris, her husband of over eight years, in a video shared to her Instagram and TikTok pages.
Throughout the day, the popular mom influencer continued to share updates about giving birth on her TikTok account, including a video of Ferris pointing toward her still-pregnant stomach and mouthing the words, “My friend’s in there."

In the video, Ferris can be seen wearing his wedding band, though Ovard’s has not been visible in any of the clips she has posted of her birth experience.
In another TikTok posted April 2, Ovard said she was “in shock because [her daughter was born] super early" and that "my brain is just not processing what’s happening.”
“I literally got one minute of skin to skin and then the next minute, she was taken away,” she said at the time.
While Ovard did not confirm the exact birth date or time of her daughter, additional court documents revealed that a Salt Lake County district court judge agreed to pause their divorce proceedings “pending the outcome of settlement negotiations.”
Ovard later revealed in another YouTube video on July 13 that she moved from Salt Lake City into a new home in California on July 13.
She said that she had "been wanting to move here for literally years now” and that "we flew back [from our vacation in Mexico] and came straight back to this house [and] everything happened really quick.”
Ovard said the family planned to travel back and forth to their home in Salt Lake City before selling it off, noting she has “no desire to go back to Salt Lake."
