“We appreciate all of the incredible work that the amazing Colleen Zenk brought to The Young and the Restless and the role of Aunt Jordan,” Josh Griffith, Y&R‘s executive producer and head writer, tells Deadline.
While surrounded by members of the Newman family, Jordan succumbed to a cup full of crushed sleeping pills. It was that or the pokey, it seems. Jordan was happy to choose the former.
Zenk first joined the sudser to wreak havoc against the Newmans as a way to retaliate for the death of her sister Eve.
Y&R was lucky to recruit the popular daytime actress. Before arriving to Genoa City, Zenk played Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns from 1978-2010. She earned three Emmy nominations while working on the soap.
